Our Heart For The House is the set of ten values that determine the culture and define the direction of Outreach Community Church. They set the tone and course we will follow to build our church and support our community.
WE ARE PERSONALLY DEVOTED
We are individually on a quest to know God and grow in relationship with Him. The early church changed the world when "they devoted themselves" (Acts 2:42) - everyone, all in. Our individual walk with God is paramount.
WE BELIEVE OUR RESOURCES ARE IN OUR RELATIONSHIPS
We are wired and built by God to be interdependent, isolation was never God's design. Our destiny is wrapped up in our relationships. We are not about the one-man band; we are all about building strong lives together.
WE ARE YOUR BIGGEST FAN
We value every person because God broke the mould when He created them. Every person has unique gifts, incredible potential and can be used powerfully by God. We are deeply committed to each other's success and releasing their potential.
WE ARE ALL ABOUT THE NUMBERS
We are unapologetically concerned about who is in church as an empty chair is destined to be filled with a changed life.
We exist to grow, but we will always see the 'one'.
WE ARE SO MUCH BIGGER THAN WE LOOK
If we are going to reach our world, we can't think small. We will never live according to our circumstances. We will always look beyond, take steps of faith and believe God for the breakthrough.
THE EXTRA MILE IS A GIVEN
We promote generosity as a lifestyle decision not a random act.
We will model it, celebrate it and look for ways to go above
and beyond to give sacrificially.
WE ARE A PEOPLE OF HONOUR
We will always look for opportunities to honour those above, below and around us because of the calling and potential God
has placed inside of them.

What we do with today ultimately affects what happens tomorrow therefore, we sow today believing for a future harvest.
There is no room for half-heartedness. We will take responsibility, always full on, and strive for the best with the resources we have.

OCC is built on the shoulders of key leaders that God has anointed to lead, bring vision and direction. We will passionately defend
our leaders and our unity under that leadership.
WE ARE WHAT WE ARE BY DESIGN
We have a clearly defined culture and flavour that is key to our future. We invite everyone to join us but will not be held to ransom by personal agendas or preferences. Our expression is simple, clear and effective.
